Could someone please tell why my flash movie isn't triggered to start when
viewed with firefox?

www.burn2dvd.com

I have a feeling it has something to do with integrating with php.
If you hit the "HOME" button, it would start fine though..:confused;

Thanks,
Joel

Thanks Rob, I think the problem occurs in Windows only.
Could someone please try it with Windows+FF?

Thanks,
Joel

Yes, it does not work with Firefox, Seamonkey, Opera, Safari or Flock on Vista.
There is no error thrown by any of the browsers. I'm using Shockwave Flash 10.0
r12. I get no meaningful errors in Firebug or the Error console in Firefox.

The site works as expected in IE.

Hi Joel,

Not really. The only time I've experienced something like this, it has been a
matter of how the content was loading. If a main timeline has only one frame
and some content is called on to play before it has loaded, then the play
command will fail. If other code is set to work based on the success of this
play, then they will never run. When you select a menu item, you're starting a
whole new set of things running and the items that are called for are loaded
and ready to go.

Does any of that sound familiar?

Thanks Rob,

Doesn't sound familiar although it does make sense.
The reason I suspect it has something to do with the PHP integration is that I
uploaded the same script/movie to a different server (microsod.com) and it
works fine there.

Thanks,
Joel
