Is the html file one that Flash published? If so, does it include something in
the page code related to AC_FL_RunContent (I'm guessing at that from memory)?

IF so, you need to upload a js file that would also have been published
bearing a name similar to that.

When i publish my flash it just produces the files above. i found the
runcontent file that u mentioned elsewhere and uploaded it, but it still has a
blank page.. it probably is something simple.. do i have to modify this file
since i got it externally or is there a way to get it published with the rest
of the files? im using a mac if that helps..

as i said before any help would be really appreciated..

thanks

Can you provide a link to the web site? I'd like to take a look at the html page code.

I don't have a mac, so hopefully the problem isn't woven into that end of things.

Do this as a test.
Make a new flash movie and put some simple content into it - a line of text
and a very simple animation. Save the movie as "test.fla" Now, in the publish
settings section tell flash to publish the swf and the html and name them
"1.swf" and "index.html" now publish your movie and upload these files to your
server. If this works online then you know your server is not the issue - go
back to your original movie and check the publish settings - tell flash to
publish "1.swf" and "index.html" then upload these files to your server, clear
your browser cache and take another look.
